Frequently asked questions.
Who are you?
Dynamic Sound Sampling is a sample library company led by film composer Steve Mazzaro (Remote Control Productions). Our mission is simple - find captivating instruments and play them in unique ways to fill in gaps that other sample libraries are missing.
What happens after I purchase a product?
You will see an email regarding the status of your payment. You will then be sent links in which you may begin downloading your product. You then have 7 days or 12 attempts (whichever comes first) to download the file(s).
I can’t open the files I downloaded.
Dynamic Sound Sampling uses a product called Win-Rar to compress the files. You may download the product for free at the website below:
PC - http://win-rar.com/download.html
OSX - http://unrarx.com
Why does it only give me a 30-minute demo?
You must purchase the full retail version of Kontakt 4+ (some libraries require 5; see each individual product page for details). Our libraries will not work with the free Kontakt Player.
Can I purchase a hard copy of a product?
Unfortunately, not at this time. Dynamic Sound Sampling products are sold via digital distribution only.
I can’t hear anything! Why aren’t my samples working?
Try changing modulation (cc1), volume (cc7), or expression (cc11) - most instruments use these cc parameters in some way (more can be found specifically in the manual for each library).
